Music has shaped my life in so many ways, but I never feel as connected to a song as when I’m playing it. The folk tradition is dying under strict copyright laws. While covering songs will never be considered a true artform, musicians like Linda Ronstadt has proven that if you can make a song your own, you have given a gift to the world.
